ISC Announces N&T Rates for FY'16 (December 16, 2014)
For FY'16 ISC will hold steady rates for the majority of networking and telecommunications services. The Central Service Fee (CSF) will increase by 1.21% beginning July 1, 2015 to support strategic service enhancements. These changes reflect broad discussion with the Network Planning Task Force (NPTF), a cross-campus team of technology and business staff that discusses strategies and issues surrounding planning and funding for PennNet, as well as within the context of Information Systems and Computing (ISC) strategic planning.[more...]

Penn Continues To Invest In Initiatives To Prevent Cyber-Attacks(August 19, 2013)
News stories about computer security and data breaches are at an all time high. Whether they are international reports of hackers commanding high prices for newly discovered vulnerabilities, or more local news about peers in Higher Ed losing tens of thousands of user records, many of these stories can be traced to common methods of attack: compromised accounts, unpatched machines, poorly monitored systems, vulnerable third party software, and human error.[more...]

Client Care Pilot Begins October 6 (July 17, 2013)
As part of its Redefinition program, Information Systems & Computing (ISC) will launch Client Care, a new service that will provide the University community a consistent and efficient way to order and request ISC services and support. Client Care will serve as a single point of contact for ISC's services, and will eventually consolidate over 19 stand-alone service entry points to provide a "best-in-class" experience for faculty, staff, students, and alumni. New Tier 1 Data Center Now Open (July 17, 2013)
ISC is pleased to announce the opening of a new Tier I data center at South Bank. The brand new 2,500 square foot, 250kW facility provides immediate capacity for 40+ racks with considerable room for expansion, providing the much needed space for current and anticipated growth. [more...]
