AirPennNet Service Upgrades Start May 24

ISC Networking & Telecommunications has begun a series of upgrades to AirPennNet that will enhance both the speed and security of the wireless network. These upgrades, which will begin in May 2010 and continue through June 2011, are being implemented in phases to allow for uninterrupted wireless service. For the first phase, individuals using Windows laptops to connect to AirPennNet will be required to upgrade SecureW2 software to the most current version before May 24, 2010.

To learn more about the service enhancements and to determine what steps you need to take before May 24 to continue to use AirPennNet service, AirPennNet users should consult the transition schedule at AirPennNet: www.upenn.edu/computing/wireless.  The schedule includes links to instructions for Windows and Macintosh laptops as well as handheld devices.
