ISC Collaborates with Penn Schools and Centers on Podcasts
March 28, 2007 :: Gates Rhodes, ISC Networking and Telecommunications
Podcasting - the digital audio medium that is distributed over the Iinternet
and that can be downloaded automatically and played back on mobile devices
and personal computers - is
increasingly popular with Penn students, faculty, and staff. To meet
this growing demand, Information Systems & Computing’s Penn Video
Network is working with Alumni Relations and the Office of University Communications
to produce podcasts on a
variety of topics, from neuroscience to why America’s youth is doing poorly
in math to poetry readings. The podcasts are available as part of Penn
Perspectives Conversations, an ongoing series with Penn people doing exciting
and innovative work. You can access the podcasts by going to the University
Communications website at http://www.upenn.edu/pennnews/perspectives.php or
by going to the Penn Video Network website at http://www.upenn.edu/video/pvp/podcasts.html
Alumni may access the podcasts at the alumni website http://www.alumni.upenn.edu/podcasts/ For
more information, please contact Gates Rhodes at rhodes@isc.upenn.edu
