MacNet
Thursday, February 10
2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Sansom West, Room 306 (Bits and Pieces Room)
MacNet meeting, featuring a presentation/discussion on PDAs as they pertain to MacOS specifically in the Penn environment (Bob Desilets) and MacWorld San Francisco 2005 Insights (Larry Macy and John Mulhern, III).

Super User Group (SUG)
Monday, February 15
12 Noon to 1:30 PM, Benjamin Franklin Room - 218 Houston Hall
Topic: CSI: Penn - Compromised System Investigation Tools
This month's meeting looks into the forensics of identifying compromised machines. Josh Beeman and David Taylor will review some of the tools (Windows- and Linux-based) that the University's Information Security specialists use to identify and investigate compromised machines. Take away some pointers on how you can use these tools and methods to identify system
compromises on your network.

Topic: Incorporating blogging into institutional web sites
Come learn how blogging is quickly being transformed into a tool for professional communications on the Web. Featuring an intro to basic blogging tools by Bob Desilets of ISC, and a case study by Ed Greenlee of the Law School on how blogging is being integrated into the Law Library web site.
