Penn’s Information Systems & Computing division is a
recipient of CIO Magazine’s 2004 CIO 100 Award. The
annual award program recognizes organizations around the world
that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence
in information technology.
“I am honored that the magazine is recognizing ISC’s
strong relationship with our clients and the energy, commitment,
and hard work from every member of the ISC team that has made this
award possible,” said ISC Vice President Robin Beck. “Every
ISC employee should be proud of this recognition, and I am very,
very proud of ISC.”
To provide a vision of ever-changing business trends, the focus
of the CIO 100 changes annually. This year’s theme
is the “Agile 100,” which recognizes those IT organizations
that can respond quickly to changing business environments. Winners
demonstrate measurable results in how they use IT to enable and
support agility in their organizations.
ISC is in good company. This year’s recipients include
Harvard Business School, T. Rowe Price, UNICEF, The Vanguard Group,
Marriott International, NBC, GM, and Dell. Complete coverage
of the 2004 CIO 100 Awards is featured in the August 15 issue of
CIO Magazine and at www.cio.com.
