PROGRAM_CODES Table

Explanation
Contains information on programs, which are activities or work processes commonly defined across the University. Programs track an activity across schools and centers (or across organizations within a school or center). Program data available includes short and long descriptions of the program, the Facilities and Real Estate Services building code (if the program is a building), and information specific to programs that are capital projects.

Common Uses
Displaying the description of a program. Retrieving the building code for reports on buildings. Reporting information on capital projects.

• When decoding a PROGRAM_CODE, decide whether you want the 60-character PROGRAM_DESC, or the 70-character PROGRAM_LONG_DESC.
