The 6-character code for the fund associated with the PARENT_FUND (or rollup group).

A Fund is a specific set of financial resources that needs tracking or management. A given PARENT_FUND may be associated with more than one CHILD_FUND, and a given CHILD_FUND may have more than one parent.

Example: Fund 990256 (BLACK LAW JOURNAL) has parents FBNORM (Fnd Bal CNAC_ORG_FUND) and AIFREV (ALL FUNDS, EXCEPT 020000-02999).

The 6-character code for the fund that serves as the parent (or rollup group) for one or more other funds, allowing amounts to be summarized at the parent level.

A given fund may have more than one parent. For example, fund 990256 (BLACK LAW JOURNAL) has parents FBNORM (Fnd Bal CNAC_ORG_FUND) and AIFREV (ALL FUNDS, EXCEPT 020000-02999).

A fund is the unique identifier for a specific set of financial resources that needs tracking or management.
