SRS TERM CALENDAR Table

Explanation

This table contains dates that are used for a given session and academic term which influence processing within SRS.

Common Uses

• Determine whether a report on course enrollments is being run before or after the drop/add deadlines for a term.
• Find the projected exit date for students who plan to graduate in a specified term in the future.
• Find rooms that are available during the term break (even though they may be in use by a class during that semester).

Cautions

The data in this table are used by the Office of the Registrar for internal purposes, and may be manipulated to assist in production job processing. For example, the column Timetable_Publication_Date is based on a field in SRS that is used by the Office of the Registrar to keep track of when the last update occured for the Course TimeTable publication. Each time an update is run, they examine the file of course timetable changes that were made since the last update, process the changes, and modify the Timetable Publication Date. Thus the date that appears in this column is the latest update of the publication, not the original publication date.
