REQUIREMENT Table

Explanation

A Requirement is a line in a Component of Component Line Type RQ. It is associated with the Degree and Division of the Component. Requirements contain the "rules" for how a specific degree requirement can be satisfied, as defined by the degree-granting division or school. For example, a Requirement might be limited to only Penn courses and no AP or transfer credit. Each Requirement appears as a separate line on the Advisor InTouch worksheet.

Common Uses

• Finding all the requirements for a specific division, degree, major, catalog term.
• Finding all requirements that do not allow courses to be taken pass/fail.
