INSTITUTION Table - Data Element Index

The city of the institution, corresponding to the Institution code. For
example: St. Xavier's College, institution code 1708, is located in Chicago.

| Country |
The country of the institution, corresponding to the Country code. The
codes for United States are null and US. For example: the code for France
is FR |
| Institution_Code |
The code for the institution, school, college, university or other body
which a student attended. This may include Penn. Where possible, the Educational
Testing Service (ETS) code is used (Penn no longer assigns leading zeros
to ETS codes). Institution codes between 1 and 6 refer to credit-awarding
programs such as 1 (Advanced Placement Credit), 2 (Credit-by-Exam), and
5 (Advanced Standing Credit). Institution codes greater than 103 refer to
specific schools and universities, and even departments, where applicable.
For example: University of Pennsylvania is 2926, Nazareth Academy is 334840,
and Harvard University Medical/Law School is 1002000 |

The full name of the institution, school, college, university or body
which a student attended, corresponding to Institution_Code. This may include
Penn. For example: the student attended the University of Pennsylvania.

The state of the institution, corresponding to the State code. For example:
the state code for Pennsylvania is PA. |
