ENROLLMENT SECTION TYPE Table

Explanation

The Section Types associated with a student's enrollment in a course section. Every Course Section can have up to ten Section Types per term. This table contains one record per Section Type per student enrolled in a Course Section per term.

Common Uses

• Finding which students are enrolled in a course section and are getting credit for a specific section type.

Cautions

Students who enroll in a course with Section Types can subsequently have the Section Type on their enrollment record changed. It is possible for the Section Type in ENROLLMENT_SECT_TYPE_TERM and the Section Type in COURSE_SECT_TYPE_TERM to be different, even within the same course section in the same term. One common example is WATU, where the Section Type is maintain on a student-by-student basis, and is not always assigned to everyone enrolled in the course.
