Explanation

Information about when and where the course section met (meets). A course section may have up to 6 separate meeting patterns, each one of which takes place in 1 location, for 1 duration of time, and on 1 or more days of the week. One record exists for each term the course is offered, for each course section of the course, and for each meeting pattern per course section.

Common Uses

• Displaying the actual name of a course meeting instead of the course meeting code that appears in one of the Related Tables. ("Don't show the codes in the report. Show the English instead.")
