• Not all graduate programs have a teaching requirement, and for those that do, course IDs are not necessarily specified. For graduate students in programs where there is a teaching requirement, but no specific courses that must be taught, there may simply be a "Y" in the Teaching_Req_Satisfied column in the PHD_DISSERTATION table, and there will be nothing in this GRADUATE_TEACHING table. For graduate students in programs where there is no teaching requirement, there may be a "N" in the Teaching_Required column in the PHD_DISSERTATION table, and there will be nothing in this GRADUATE_TEACHING table.
