FINANCIAL_SCHOOL Table
Explanation
Lookup table for financial school codes in the format used in the financial
system that was used at Penn before July 1, 1996. For example, the name that
corresponds to school 35 is "SOCIAL WORK."
Common Uses
- Displaying the name of the school instead of the school code that appears
in one of the related tables. ("Don't show the codes in the report. Show the
English instead.")

Cautions
- FIN_SCHOOL_CODE is the 2-digit school code used in the financial system
that was used at Penn before July 1, 1996. It is not the same as the school/center
code in the present General Ledger accounting structure (in use at Penn since
July 1, 1996).
