The warehouse V_INSTRUCTOR_CATEGORY table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is SATURN_STVFCTG.

Cautions and notes

• The categories in Pennant may differ from an instructor's Primary Academic Appointment type in the HCM system.
