Explanation

This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for the status of dissertation and masters thesis committee members.

Some examples of Committee Status: A = Active, I = Inactive, R = Removed, etc.

The warehouse V_COMMITTEE_STATUS table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is SATURN_STVCOMS.
