V_ADVISOR_TYPE table

Explanation

This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for codes used to identify types of advisors. Students can have multiple advisors, and each advisor will have a type. For example, a student can have a Major advisor, as well as a Division office advisor, a Peer advisor, and a Department chair who is their advisor as well.
