Contains visa codes for students for whom the visa status needs monitoring by the University of Pennsylvania.

Visa information initially comes from the admissions systems, but after that the data can be updated from International Student Scholars Services (ISSS).

Common Uses

• Identify specific students' visa type.

Cautions and notes

• Not every student with a visa will have their information in this table. International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is the data steward for visa information, when Penn needs to monitor an individual's visa type and status. Questions about visa type and status should be directed to ISSS.
