Information on registration, transcript, graduation, and other types of holds put on students' records, along with the effective dates.

The warehouse ST_HOLD table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The ODS source tables are UPENN_ODS.SATURN_SPRIDEN and UPENN_ODS.SATURN_SPRHOLD. In the online Pennant system, the data about students' holds can be viewed on the SOAHOLD form.

Common Uses

• Find all students on hold at a specific point in time.
• Join to other information for students on a specific type of hold.

Cautions and notes

• When holds are placed on a student's record, they have a start date and a projected "to" date. They are not term-specific, although a term can be derived from the dates.
