Financial Aid Social Security Validate table

This table provides the social security number for a given Penn ID or PIDM of individuals who may have applied for financial aid. Access to this table is limited.

The warehouse Financial Aid Year Period (dwngss_pf.fa_ssn_validate) table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source tables are SATURN_SPBPERS, FAISMGR_RORSTAT, SATURN_SARADAP and SATURN_SGBSTDN.

Common Uses

• If end user has permission, retreive a SSN for operational processes.
