PARENT_CNAC_CODES Table
ExplanationU
Lists CNAC's (Center Net Asset Class codes which identify the school or center
and the net asset class) with their parent CNAC's (that is, their roll-up groups).
A given CNAC may have more than one parent. For example, CNAC 132 (EAS/PR) has
parents 13T (EAS-130,131,132), AX2 (NAC 2, (XX2, except 992)), and AC2 (NAC
2, Permanently Restricted).
Common Uses

amounts summarized at different levels.

Cautions
- The table is only as good as its data. Spurious parent CNAC's may not have
been removed from the table, and some parents may have yet to be added to
the table.
- To create a hierarchy, use a self-join. Connect by prior may work but is
not recommended.
- Data is kept only for CNAC's in use. If a BEN Financials roll-up group range
includes a CNAC that does not exist, the table will not have a record for
that CNAC.
