• Graduate students often receive a Master's degree on their way to getting a PhD degree. Some graduate programs are "tracked", that is, the master's work automatically feeds into the doctoral work. For such programs, the PHD_DISSERTATION table must also be queried, to get the complete graduate benchmark "picture."
