|
The unique identifier of each course offered by Penn. A course, in contrast
to a course_section, is not specific to a particular term. A course must
exist at the inventory level for a section of that course to be offered
in a term.

|
The Inventory title of the course. Note that this is not necessarily the
same as the title in the Course Term File. For example, the title in the
Inventory might be "Special Topics" and the title of a section of that course
in the Course Term File might be "Shakespeare's comedies." |

Indicates whether a course fulfills a school-defined distribution
requirement for an academic discipline.

C - General Requirement in Science Studies
F - General Requirement in Formal Reasoning & Analysis

L - General Requirement in Living World
P - General Requirement in Physical World
S - General Requirement in Society
1 - Distributional course in Society

3 - Distributional course in Arts & Letters
R - Writing Requirement Course

W - WHARTON CORE/KEY COURSE

- Subject_Area
|
The 4-character alphabetic code for the subject area of the academic discipline
under which the course is offered. One academic department may administer
multiple subject areas. |

- Xlist_Course_Id
|
The Course Id of the course that is crosslisted with the course identified
in the key, Course_Id. In the SRS Course Inventory, a course can have zero-to-five
courses that are cross-listed with it. See COURSE_ID. |
