The warehouse load has been changed to load the “section admin” data into the new Section Admin Code field. The logic used is anything not matching 0% is moved to the new field.

Course Admin Code |
RI146 EAS CRED FACTOR CODE
NATURAL ALIAS: EAS-FCTR-RI
appears on screen 125 |
This code is loaded from the EAS Credit Factor code field in SRS Course Inventory when the data value doesn’t start with 0. The field is used to identify administrative sub-units within a school that have budgetary and academic responsibility for courses. This is most notably used in Schools which in all courses are one subject area, (i.e. NURS, EDUC). School of Arts and Sciences is using the field to identify groups of courses.
The data for this field is entered on Screen 125. Schools may request codes from the registrar, using the convention of the first digit representing their budget range, ie. SAS is using the 2s, Nursing uses 6s. Using letters and numbers for the second position, a school can identify up to 36 administrative divisions.
This code will be added to the Tuition Distribution collection, but may be used for other course-related reporting projects.
Valid values appear in the COURSE_ADMIN_CODE lookup table. |
