CENSUS_TERM Table

Explanation

Table in support of departmental teaching analysis (DTA) programs. The table includes instructor names, as well as aggregate data about the students and credits they earned in courses.

New records are added to this table once a term, not once a day. These records are added mid-term, as of March 1996 not yet on a fixed schedule, but distinct from that for the CEN_STDT_ and CEN_COURSE_ tables.

Cautions

• DO NOT CONFUSE this table with any of the CEN_STDT_ or CEN_COURSE_ tables. CENSUS_TERM uses CENSUS to refer to the University Census, which is a fixed view of University employees once per term to aid in standardized reporting. The CEN_ tables, in contrast, use "CEN" to refer to the Census Date, the date on which a fixed view of University students is created once per term to aid in other standardized reporting.
