Term_Earned_Credit |
The credit the student earns for courses applied to any career in a given
term. Credits for courses not applying to any career are not included in
this sum. The total can be no higher than the TERM_REGISTERED_CREDIT. A
credit is earned when a student receives passing grade for a course. A passing
grade discludes failures (F), withdrawals (W) and all incompletes (I).
NOTE: This field is always null in the STDTTERM tables.
NOTE: All fields in CEN_STDT_STUDENT_TERM are static; they are updated
by term and there is only record per student per term.
|
Term_Gpa |
Grade Point Average for this student in the term indicated. It may range
from 0-4.0 and is calculated by dividing TERM_GRADE_POINTS by the TERM_QUALITY_CREDIT
attempted. (The grade point is the sum of the numeric values assigned to
each letter grade included in the grade point average.) This field only
calculates this average using grades from the current term s data.
- NOTE: All fields in CEN_STDT_STUDENT_TERM are static; they are updated
by term and there is only record per student per term.
|
Term_Grade_Points |
The sum of the SCE grade point values for the given term, but only includes

updated by term and there is only record per student per term.
|
Term_Quality_Credit |
This number is the denominator used in the calculation of the grade point
average and is the earned credits included in the grade point average. If
a student passes a course taken pass/fail, earned credits increase, but
quality credits remain the same. If a student fails a course taken pass/fail,
earned credits remain the same, but quality credits increase.
NOTE: This field is always null in the STDTTERM tables.
NOTE: All fields in CEN_STDT_STUDENT_TERM are static in that they are

Term_Registered_Credit |

a student s degree program), TERM_QUALITY_CREDIT (credits used to calculate
a grade point average), credits used to calculate a student's full-/part-
time status, or credits used to calculate a student's load limit for
a term. This field is generated by the system by calculating the sum
of SCE-Registered Credit and includes credits for all courses, regardless
of which career the course is applied to, even if the credits apply
to no career. NOTE: All fields in CEN_STDT_STUDENT_TERM are static in
that they are updated by term and there is only record per student per
term.
