Cautions

  • At the time of this writing (October 2009), Partner/Joint organizations may only apply to faculty PIK or joint appointments, or to student work-study positions. For PIK/joint faculty appointments, the Partner ORG is designated by the administering organization. For student work-study positions, the Student Employment Office will automatically receive Partner ORG (view-only) access to the student’s record.
  • As long as an ORG is designated as a Joint ORG for a role, users with access to that organization in PennWorks and the Salary Management collection will be able to view all biographic/demographic, role and distribution data for the employee, even if the organization is not the Home ORG.
  • You can access a COMP_PERSON_ROLE_JOINT_ORG row only if you are authorized to access data for the employee's home center or organization, the role center or organization, or a joint center or organization.
