COMP_PAY_PERSON_DEPENDENT Table

Note: This table is no longer updated, following the retirement of PennWorks and the implementation Workday@Penn in July 2019.

Explanation
Contains records associating employee dependents with PennWorks Additional Pay requests. There is one row for each dependent and pay request combination, although there may be multiple dependents per employee.

Common Uses
Retrieving information about dependents for particular employees, as related to particular Additional Pay requests.

  • COMP_PAY_PERSON_DEPENDENT contains records associating PennWorks Additional Pay requests with Penn employees and their dependents. It contains very minimal information about those individuals, and should not be considered an authoritative source of data about employees' dependents.
  • Individual dependents may appear multiple times in COMP_PAY_PERSON_DEPENDENT, as associated with different Additional Pay requests over time.
  • The COMP_PAY_PERSON_DEPENDENT table can be found in the DWCOMP schema.
