This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for codes that define the status of a sports code.

The warehouse V_SPORT_STATUS table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is SATURN_STVSPST.

Cautions and notes

• This is not the sport codes. This table contains the codes that indicate whether the sport code is active or inactive. The sport codes are found with other activity codes, in the V_ACTIVITY table.
