Explanation

This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for the codes that identify the relationship of a person to a student, when that student is considered a "legacy" student (i.e., related to a Penn alum).

The warehouse V_LEGACY table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is SATURN_STVLGCY.
