V_ADMIT_TYPE table

Explanation

This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for codes used to identify the type or method of admission. Students can have multiple types of admits but will only have one admit type per term per curriculum. For example, a student can have an ED (for undergraduate admissions' Early Decision), and then later, on another curriculum, have a GA (for graduate/professional admit).

The warehouse V_ADMIT_TYPE table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is SATURN_STVADMT.
