V_ADDRESS_TYPE table

Explanation

This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for codes used to identify the types of address that students can have. Students can have multiple types of addresses. Not all students will have an address of every type.

The warehouse V_ADDRESS_TYPE table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is SATURN_STVATYP.

Cautions and notes

• Student phone numbers also have types. Phone types and Address types are not linked to each other.
