V_ADDITIONAL_ID table

Explanation

This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for codes used to identify the types of additional identification codes that can be associated with a student, besides the standard Penn_ID assigned to all students. Not every student will have additional id types. Some students may have multiple additional ID types.

The warehouse V_ADDITIONAL_ID table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is GENERAL_GORADID.
