Explanation

This is a validation table, containing the values and descriptions for codes used to identify categories to which academic award codes can be assigned. Includes categories such as Baccalaureate Degree, Associate Degree, First Professional Degree, etc. This validation table is referenced in the Degree validation table, V_DEGREE.
