STUDENT REGISTRATION AUDIT table

Explanation

The table contains all registration activity for a student's record for a given term once Banner went live for student (Term>=202220). This table contains multiple rows and sequence numbers to track registration attempts, drops, adds, registrations, withdrawals and grade activities. This table is in audit format and utilizes sequence numbers and dates to indicate what happened for the student.

The warehouse ST_REGISTRATION_AUDIT table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The ODS source tables is UPENN_ODS.SATURN_SFRSTCA.

Cautions and notes

• Registration Audit data results in mutlple rows per student
• Use sequence numbers, dates and registration status information to make sure you are understading the data you are using in queries and reports. This table is for auditing purposes, for regular activity and reporting, use DWNGSS_PS.ST_ENROLLMENT and DWNGSS_PS.CRSE_SECTION.
