STUDENT PREVIOUS INSTITUTION table

Explanation

Contains codes and names of previous educational institutions attended by the student prior to matriculating at the University of Pennsylvania.

The warehouse ST_PREV_INST table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The ODS source tables are UPENN_ODS.SATURN_SORPCOL.

Cautions and notes

• Information in this tables comes from the Banner admissions tables, which are populated from the Penn admissions systems. The data are self-reported, and not all previous institutions attended will be found here.
• Only data on matriculated students will be in this table. There are separate data collections for Undergraduate Admissions and Graduate Admissions.
