CRSE_GRADE_MODE table

(dwngss_ps.crse_grade_mode)

Explanation

Contains the information about all the possible grading mode authorizations for a course. When a section is scheduled in a term, it cannot use a grade mode that has not been defined for the course. Grade modes, along with the student's level, determine the array of grades available for grading a student.

The grading mode codes and their descriptions are in the warehouse talbe DWNGSS.V_GRADE_MODE. To see how grade modes, along with student level, determine the allowed grades, see DWNGSS_PS.ALLOWABLE_GRADES.

Source

The warehouse CRSE_GRADE_MODE table is refreshed in batch mode from the Operational Data Store (ODS), which gets its data from the Banner database. The UPENN_ODS source table is SATURN_SCRGMOD.
