Cautions
and notes
- Not all schools use the Grad Funding system to track allocations for stipends, because there is no automated feed to Payroll. Stipend information must be entered in Payroll separately from and in addition to any information entered in Grad Funding.
- Distributions can be assigned to service or non-service allocations.
- Distributions can consist of multiple accounts per allocation.
- Distributions can include partial payments, if all accounts are not yet known.
- Distributions can have amounts calculated as a percentage of the allocation.
- Distributions can include research match accounts.
- When an allocation amount is disbursed to a student's bill, the disbursement is paid from the primary school's) clearing account. The distrubition accounts are then used to reimburse the clearing account.
- To clear the clearing account, a distribution must be assigned to each allocation as soon as actual accounts are known.
