CUMULATIVE_AID_CAREER Table

(dwsfa.fa_cumulative_aid_career)

Explanation
Contains one row per individual student, and the total cumulative amounts, if any, that the student received from each aid source. The table is denormalized, with separate columns for each type of aid source.

Common Usage examples

• Calculate how much has been distributed to Penn students, in total, for a particular cateogy of aid (e.g., Perkins Loans, State grants, etc.)
• Calculate the total amount a student has received from all aid sources, for all years.

FA_BIO

• SID is the social security number, and is a protected column. Warehouse reporting uses PennID and not SID.

Source

• Data are extracted nightly from the Student Aid Management system (SAM) on the administrative mainframe.
