AWARD Table

Oracle schema and table name: dwsfa.fa_award_term
Business Objects class: Award (AWD)

Explanation
Contains one record for each award "program" a student is offered in his or her award package, by program identifier, and aid year (year is further delineated into term and term session.)

Common Usage examples

• Find students whose aid package includes WorkStudy this semester.
• Summarize awards that include Perkins loans for the past five years.

APPLICATION

• Although SID is part of the record key, it is a protected field, and cannot be seen or used in Data Warehouse reports. Tables in the Business Objects universe are joined on Penn_ID.

• Data are extracted nightly from the Student Aid Management system (SAM) on the administrative mainframe.
