Contains a listing of academic degree types, which are referenced by the FIS_DEGREE table.

• In order to determine degree(s) held by an individual faculty member, refer to the FIS_DEGREE table, using MESSAGE_ID to join to FIS_DEGREE.DEGREE_TYPE, and then use FIS_DEGREE.FASDA_ID to join to the FIS_FACULTY table
