Explanation

Lookup table that provides the mapping of subjects to departments, and departments to schools. Subject areas belong to departments. A Department can have many subject areas; each subject area can belong to just one department. Departments belong to schools. A School can have many departments; each department can belong to just one school.

  • Find the department that administers a subject area.
  • Find the school that administers a department.
