CM_PROPOSAL_KEY Table

dwcat_cm.cm_proposal_key

Explanation

Contains file keys and temporary identifiers for joining the collection's data back to the source database, and path components for finding the a record in the online Courseleaf application.

Common Uses

  • Troubleshoot a particular proposal by looking up the record in the online application.
  • (For developers only: create a link to the staging tables refreshed nightly from tcfdb.)

Cautions

  • Contains only one row per proposal.
  • Pagekeys are dynamic in the source; do not save the "LATEST_PAGEKEY" in a downstream system and expect it to continue to work indefinitely.
  • In order to do a manual lookup to the online CIM system for a specific proposal, you can paste the PATH_KEY into the source address, following "https://next.catalog.upenn.edu".
