CM_PROPOSAL Table

Explanation

Contains status and related workflow information about proposals that are currently in the CIM workflow. This includes proposals of all types: course proposals, assigning foundational approaches to courses, assigning sectors to courses, and program proposals.

Common Uses

  • Find the status and latest action date for current proposals
  • Find proposals queued up for review in a specific Committee Term.
  • Find all proposals requested by a specific person.
  • Find all proposals currently in a specific queue.

Cautions

  • Contains only one row per proposal.
  • The most recently approved record is also found in the CM_PROPOSAL_HISTORY table, with the MOST_RECENTLY_APPROVED_YN flag set to 'Y'.
  • In order to do a manual lookup to the online CIM system for a specific proposal, you can join on PROPOSAL_ID from this table to the CM_PROPOSAL_KEY table to get either the latest pagekey or the path needed to lookup the record.
