Explanation

Contains detail information about proposals for changes to Courses, for proposals that are currently in the CIM workflow.

Common Uses

  • Find the status and next queue for current Course proposals
  • Find proposals queued up for review in a specific Committee Term.

Cautions

  • Contains only one row per proposal: the most recently introduced proposal for the course.
  • The most recently approved record is also found in the CM_COURSE_HISTORY table, with the MOST_RECENTLY_APPROVED_YN flag set to 'Y'. In other words, when a proposal is complete, until and unless a new proposal for the same course is introduced, that 'complete' record can be found in both CM_COURSE_CURRENT_PROPOSAL and CM_COURSE_HISTORY.
