Cautions

• NOTE: The Penn People application was retired with the retirement of PennWorks and the mainframe Personnel/Payroll system in June 2019 and the implementation of Pennant Student Records in summer 2022. The ethnicity and race collection remains available for historical reference.
• The RACE_ETHNICITY_SURVEY_FLAT table is stored in the DWIPEDS schema in the Data Warehouse.
• Many of the columns in the RACE_ETHNICITY_SURVEY_FLAT table indicate the binary results of the employee or student response to the race/ethnicity survey, where the value of 1 corresponds to "yes" responses and 0 to "no".
• This information is only visible to those who have ethnicity/race access in the Data Warehouse.
• Snapshots of this data can be found in the RACE_ETHNICITY_SURVEY_SNAP table stored in the DWIPEDS schema in the Data Warehouse.
