ASSET_INVENTORY Table

Explanation
The ASSET_INVENTORY table contains records resulting from the asset inventory process, including the value of select asset attributes at the time the record was sent out for inventory (outbound), results of the inventory (inbound), and data in the BEN Assets system at the time the inventory was returned (compare). Schools and Centers may query the table to review and generate their own inventory changes. ASSET_INVENTORY is updated nightly, at which point any records for the current inventory will be replaced, but all records for prior inventories will be retained.

Cautions

• The various compare columns will be populated only if the data returned by the inventory differs from that in BEN Assets at the time the inventory is returned.
• ASSET_INVENTORY retains history of prior inventories, although data for the current inventory is replaced nightly while it is underway.
• The ASSET_INVENTORY able is stored in the DWGL schema in the Data Warehouse.
