Applicant_ID
|
An identifying number, assigned by the Graduate Admissions system,
to each applicant. This column cannot be null.
When an applicant is admitted and matriculates to
Penn,
the Applicant_ID is loaded to the Student Records System along with
their other biographic, demographic, and academic information.
Note that technically
to uniquely identify rows requires both the Applicant_ID and
the Record
Source. |

| Rec_Number |
A system assigned sequence number assigned to the Recommenders for a given applicant. The numbers are part of the primary key, used to identify unique rows, and do not indicate any hierarchical value. |

Date the recommendation from this Recommender was received by the admitting school. |
| Record_Source |
For records that come from the Apply Yourself system, Record_Source will have a value of 'AY.' Schools not participating in AY will have a record source of the school or division code. |
| Relationship |
A free-form text field containing the desciption of the relationship between the Recommender and the Applicant, as provided by the Applicant. For example, "Independent Study Advisor" or "My inorganic chemistry professor". |
| State |
State in the Recommender's addrss, as provided by the Applicant. |
| Title |
A free-form text field describing the Recommender's title, as entered by the Applicant. For example, "Professor and Political analyst", or "Dr.", or "vice minister" |

Postal code of the Recommender's address, as provided by the Applicant. |
