Applicant_ID
|
An identifying number, assigned by the Graduate Admissions system,
to each applicant. This column cannot be null.
When an applicant is admitted and matriculates to
Penn,
the Applicant_ID is loaded to the Student Records System along with
their other biographic, demographic, and academic information.
Note that
to uniquely identify rows requires both the Applicant_ID and
the Record
Source. |
| City |
The city associated with the permanent address of the applicant. Free-form un-validated text; this field may be in all uppercase, or in title case. |
| Country |
The country associated with the applicant's permanent address. This is often the 2-character code for country, but the historical data from older records was not validated against any dataset. Values of 'ZZ' and 'Un' in this column can be assumed to be 'US'. |
| Email_Address |
The applicant's email address provided at the time of application to the University of Pennsylvania. This address is not updated subsequent to the application process. |
| Last_Update_Date |
The date the record was last updated, either via the interface from AY, or via bulk load of data from schools not participating in AY. |
| Phone_City_Code |
The code for the city used with the applicant's contact phone number. Applies to international phone numbers only. |
| Phone_Country_Code |
The code for the county used with the applicant's contact phone number. Applied to international phone numbers only. |
| Phone_Number |
The applicant's contact phone number. |
| Non US Postal Code |
For addresses that are not in the United States (and also not in Canada), this is the postal code associated with the applicant's address. |
| Non US State |
For addresses that are not in the United States (and also not in Canada), this is the state or province associated with the applicant's address. |
| Record_Source |
For records that come from the Apply Yourself system, Record_Source will have a value of 'AY.' Schools not participating in AY will have a record source of the school or division code. |
| Record_Type |
The type of address. For most records, this is set to the defalt: 'PERM' (permanent address) |
| State |
The 2-character code for the US State or territory, or Canadian Province associated with the permanent adddress of the applicant.
